THE UNDERTAKER CONFIRMED FOR WRESTLEMANIA 30

WWE sources revealed over the weekend that The Undertaker has agreed to wrestle at WrestleMania XXX. While WWE were optimistic that he would be wrestling on the 30th anniversary show, the official word came within the past week.

With WrestleMania just over 3 months away, there is still no opponent currently locked in to challenge his streak though there has been talk of Brock Lesnar or Batista.

Batista has been rumoured to make a comeback at next year's Royal Rumble in what is said to be a ‘close to full time’ short-term deal that will keep him part of WWE storylines beyond WrestleMania XXX. Batista vs The Undertaker in a WrestleMania 23 rematch at WrestleMania 30 could therefore be a possibility.

Just as when things was going fine, Kofi Kingston appears in the panel area and attacks Miz for talking roughly about him.

Fandango vs Dolph Ziggler
Ziggler got into the ring last with a large positive reaction from the crowd. The bell rings and Ziggler starts with the offence by hitting a drop kick. Fandango later countered and pushes Ziggler out of the ring.

Fandango begins to control, but not for a long time. Ziggler hits a running clothesline to get himself back in the match. Things became even now as both men kept the offense on each other with same tempo. Summer Rae is at ringside cheering for Fandango.

Fandango got an advantage on Ziggler. He now tries to go on top of the rope but Ziggler quickly reacted by knocking him down. Fandango recovers quickly and hits the flying leg drop to pin Ziggler for the three count, and the win.

WINNER: Fandango

Great match. Didn't see that coming. What a way to start the night. Special win for Fandango too

You can watch the Pre-Show here.

The PPV starts in proper now. The Authority makes their way to the ring and welcomes everyone to the show.

CM Punk vs The Shield is the first match for the night.

CM Punk vs The Shield
The action begins with Punk and Dean Ambrose. After a slow start, Punk gets the better of Ambrose and made jest of him by allowing him tag in Seth Rollins to have his own try.

Rollins tags in but Punk kept playing mind games with him by leaving the ring and coming back in to frustrate Rollins. Punk capitalised on this and begins to hit several kicks, then some neckbreakers to the crowds happy pops. Rollins finally gets to Roman Reigns and makes a tag.

Reigns power and agility seems too much for Punk as Punk could not stand a chance against him. Reigns had a few shots on Punk and then drags him to the side of their corner. Rollins tags in, and then Ambrose makes a tag too as the three members continue to take turns to assault Punk.

Outside the ring, Reigns tried to hit a spear but Punk dodges and Reigns went through the announce table. Punk got a few shot on him but Reigns agility prevailed again, hitting Punk with a clothesline.

Reigns tags in Rollins and he tried to pin Punk after he put him down with a kick at the back of his head but Punk kicked out at the second count.

Punk begins to control Rollins as Reigns is being attended to by the medics after he suffered an eye injury from his collision with the announce table. Punk locks in the Anaconda Vise but Ambrose rushed in to break it. Punk attacks Ambrose and hits the Macho Man Elbow for a two count. Rollins comes in but got hit by the GTS. Reigns finally gets into the ring but accidentally spears Ambrose. Punk took it from there and pinned him for the win.

WINNER: CM Punk

AJ Lee vs Natalya
Natalya started the match brightly as she controlled AJ in the early minutes of the match. Things began to get even as AJ began to hit few punches and a clothesline after a distraction from Tamina to Natalya.

The two divas showed their great class of talent as none was ready to play second fiddle to the other in the match. After series of brawls and exchanged punches, AJ counters Natalya's Sharpshooter and rolls her up for the three count. She successfully defends her Diva's title once again.

WINNER: AJ Lee

Big E Langston vs Damien Sandow
This match is for the Intercontinental Championship Title. Damien Sandow was out first and makes a promo, making jest of Texas by calling its people "Garbage".

Langston started the match with all brute. He keeps controlling Sandow until the match breaks out of the ring.

Sandow has is own moment too and controls Langston a bit. Langston got back on track by hitting a chair on Sandow. He hits the Big Ending but Sandow quickly counters for a two count.

Langston recovers and runs over Sandow. He hits the Big Ending once again and successfully  pins him for the three count.

WINNER: Big E Langston

Ryback & Curtis Axel vs Big Show & Rey Mysterio vs Jack Swagger & Antonio Cesaro vs Cody Rhodes & Goldust
The Tag Team Championship Title match is up next. The Real Americans are the first to come outside. Then Ryabaxel, Big Show and Mysterio followed and finally the defending champions.

The match will be an elimination match; with the last team in ring leaving as champions. The main action started with Ryback and Cody Rhodes.

The brawl went on and on until Goldust pinned Ryback via a rollup. Rybaxel is eliminated.

Goldust gets severe beating from the Real Americans. The action continued between the Rhodes Brothers and the Real Americans until Big Show comes in to clear the ring and pins Antonio Cesaro. The Real Americans are eliminated.

The two teams left began to get at each other, with all men in the ring at same time getting some taste of the action. In the end, Cody counters a roll up and pins Rey Mysterio for the win.

WINNERS: Cody Rhodes and Goldust

After the match, all four men shake hands.

Backstage, there was a segment involving Great Khali and The Primetime Players; Brad Maddox, Vickie Guerrero and Brodus Clay with Kane.

Brodus Clay vs R-Truth
This is an impromptu match. Truth quickly made a first pin after a he hit a dropkick but it just took a count before Brodus kicked out. Clay begins to control the match and he brutally attacked Truth. This made Tensai stops him and warned him to calm down but he will not listen.

Clay yelled at Tensai, forcing Tensai to leave the ringside with Naomi and Cameron. Truth capitalises on all these distraction and rolls up Clay for the three count.

WINNER: R-Truth

Kofi Kingston vs The Miz
After the earlier incidence between both guys during the pre-show, they finally get a match to settle their differences.

The match started in a fast pace, with both men wanting to get the better of the other. Kofi got the lead first and controls Miz for some minutes. The pendulum swings to Miz side and he had few shots on Kingston.

The crowd are not really getting along with the match as they kept chanting "Boring".

In the end, Kofi hits his trademark move (Trouble in Paradise) to grab the win.

WINNER: Kofi Kingston

Daniel Bryan vs The Wyatt Family
Bray Wyatt decided to sit on his rocking chair outside the ring as the match starts. Eric Rowan was in ring first against Bryan. He beats up Bryan and tags in Luke Harper who does same. Both Wyatts kept taking turns to beat up Bryan as Bray is still outside on his chair laughing.

Bray finally tags in and beat up Bryan too. He jokingly offered his arm to Bryan to join them but Bryan slapped it away. The assault continues as Harper powerbombs Bryan for a two count.

Bryan begins to come into the match. He clears everyone out of the ring and hits a Superplex on Harper for a two count. Rowan tags in, only to be showered with kicks to the chest. The crowd is really going crazy about this match.

Bryan once again  kicks Bray off the ring, sends Harper through the announce table and Rowan into the steps.

Bryan hits the Yes Lock on Bray but Bray powers out and counters with Sister Abigail for the pin and the win. Best match so far tonight.

WINNER: The Wyatt Family

A video package for the main event is showed to prepare everyone for the next match, World Heavyweight Champion John Cena vs WWE Champion Randy Orton

John Cena vs Randy Orton
Orton makes his way to the ring first, and then Cena comes out. The official introductions are made and the bell rings.

Things started slow as both men tried to be more careful. Cena got an early advantage and tried to run Orton through a table but he was unsuccessful. Orton picks a ladder and goes straight for the belts but Cena hits him with another ladder.

Orton got into the offence now and he uses a chair to get few shots on Cena. He kept attcking Cena until Cena got back into it. Cena sets a table outside the ring and picks up Orton for a powerbomb through it but Orton acted fast to dodge that. He got on the ladder and made a close contact with the belt before Cena pulled him off.

Orton made another trial in grabbing the belts but this time, Cena hits a five Knuckle Shuffle from the ladder.  Cena controlled Orton a bit and then goes for a ladder to use in picking the belts. Orton got up and hits him with a RKO. Cena later recovered and they continued brawling outsside the ring.

Cena hits Orton continously till he begins to bleed. He then set a table but Orton countered. Orton hits Cena with a mic severally and then clears the spanish announce table, only to be put through it by an Attitude Adjustment from Cena.

Cena gets on a ladder and goes for the belts. His hands was already on one when Orton pulls off the ladder from is legs, leaving him hanging up there.

Cena finally got down and was beaten by Orton. Orton cuffs Cena to the ring and then gets a ladder to go for the belts. Cena tries his best to remove the cuff but could not. He then undoes a turnbuckle and pushes off Orton from the ladder. He goes for the ladder this time but Orton pulled the rope on the turnbuckle to pull Cena who lands on a table with his head.

Orton finally steps up on a ladder to pick both belts to become the Champion of Champions.

WINNER: Randy Orton

Orton celebrates as The Authorithy steps out to the ring, including Vince McMahon who looks indifferent about Orton winning. Triple H was not too happy either but Stephanie looks filled with joy. The officials help a dejected Cena to stand to his feet as the show comes to an end.

Great night of entertainment indeed. Filled with surprises too as most of the results does not tally with my predictions.

It is left to see what tomorrow's RAW will look like. Be sure to get every bit of action of it here on this blog. Enjoy!

WWE TLC 2013: PREVIEW AND MATCH PREDICTIONS

This Sunday, WWE presents its last Pay-Per-View of the year, Tables, Ladder and Chairs (TLC) live at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. All eyes will be on the Unification Championship match between WWE Champion Randy Orton and World Heavyweight Champion John Cena. Dolph Ziggler also makes a return to PPV action when he squares off with Fandango in the kick-off match. To start with, here is the matches billed for Sunday's event:
  • World Heavyweight Champion John Cena vs WWE Champion Randy Orton (Title Unification Match)
  • Damien Sandow vs Big E Langston (C) (Intercontinental Title Match)
  • Natalya vs AJ Lee (C) (Divas Title Match)
  • Ryback & Curtis Axel vs Big Show & Rey Mysterio vs Jack Swagger & Antonio Cesaro vs Cody Rhodes & Goldust (C) (Tag Team Title Match)
  • CM Punk vs The Shield
  • Daniel Bryan vs The Wyatt Family
  • Fandango vs Dolph Ziggler
Fandango vs Dolph Ziggler
Pretty much a strange match as there seems not to be much chemistry between both guys. Start of a new feud in such a big stage like TLC does not look best for business. Hoping the otherwise happens after the match.

Prediction: Dolph Ziggler wins

Daniel Bryan vs The Wyatt Family
As much as this match-up looks interesting, it is not needed. Bryan is one of the hottest guys in the industry now and making him look cheap against these "rookies" is questionable. Also, The Wyatt Family are on a big push and this match does not seems to be any threat since they are more in numbers. All in all, it should be a great match.

Prediction: The Wyatt Family win

CM Punk vs The Shield
Another Handicap match which is not really needed. Waiting to see how long Punk could stand on his ground.........or probably make an upset.

Prediction: The Shield Win

Ryback & Curtis Axel vs Big Show & Rey Mysterio vs Jack Swagger & Antonio Cesaro vs Cody Rhodes & Goldust
Great match it seems on paper. Just a pity The Usos did not make it. The Mysterio-Show partnership does not seems to stay for a long term so it is strange they are fighting for the WWE Tag Team Title. The Real Americans should be the biggest threat to the Rhodes brothers and with the rumour of Cody vs Goldust at WM30, it seems the time is up to drop the belt for The Real Americans and then start a feud about the weak link for the loss.

Prediction: Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger win

Natalya vs AJ Lee
Great match to be expected from this. These two, maybe with the Bella Twins, are the most active divas in ring currently and should be the best candidates vying fot the Divas Title.

Prediction: AJ Lee wins

Damien Sandow vs Big E Langston
Two great talents currently on a big push. As much as it would be great to see Sandow holding a belt, it would be so dissapointing if Langston losses his title so soon. It's surely a match to watch out for.

Prediction: Big E Langston wins

John Cena vs Randy Orton
After Triple H promised there would be only one champion after this match, it is amazing to know that one of these two guys would be sacrificed to lose his Champion status. The build-up and hype to this match has been great; and we hope the match lives up to expectation.

Prediction: John Cena wins

Be sure to bookmark/come back to this blog for live updates on TLC on Sunday.
